TibaToes™ Wooden Finger Math Counting Board

A numeral becomes easier to talk about when there is a quantity beside it. Count together, add one more or take one away and notice what changes. Work with a small example first, then follow your child’s pace.

How it helps

• Connect number symbols with quantities they can count. Counting visible groups or pieces gives number symbols a concrete reference.
• Explore addition and subtraction with visible examples. The activities offer a way to explore adding and taking away with an adult’s guidance.
• Build early maths language through shared practice. Use words such as more, fewer and equal while working through a familiar example together.

What's included

• Wooden counting board with finger pieces.
• Number blocks, math symbols, and activity cards.
