TibaToes™ Numbers & Counting Bundle

A number on a page has more meaning when you can count something beside it. Use the pieces to compare small groups, then explore a related workbook activity. Keep the example familiar before adding a new number.

How it helps

• Recognise numbers by handling and arranging them. Handling the number shapes gives children a way to notice and recognise their forms.
• Practise counting and number order together. Name the numbers and arrange a short sequence together, starting with familiar ones.
• Explore addition and subtraction with visible examples. The activities offer a way to explore adding and taking away with an adult’s guidance.
