TibaToes™ Count & Clip Bead Matching Game

Using a spoon feels different from using tongs. Let your child try a tool that suits their current ability, then count the beads they move. The activity gives hand control a clear purpose while numbers become something they can handle.

How it helps

• Practise fine motor control with tongs and grasping tools. Grasping tools ask children to adjust their grip and guide a small object towards a target.
• Connect numbers with quantities by counting beads. Placing beads one at a time beside a number connects the symbol with its quantity.
• Build colour recognition through sorting into bowls. Sorting into coloured bowls gives children a visible match to compare before placing each bead.

What's included

• Number activity cards covering 1–10, coloured beads and seven sorting bowls.
• Grasping tools, including tongs, a spoon and chopsticks.

Age and play space

• Recommended for ages 3+ with adult supervision.
• Use on a flat, clear surface so the small pieces stay together.

Start with one card

• Choose a number card and count beads into its spaces, one at a time.
• For a different activity, sort the beads into matching coloured bowls. Try a grasping tool when your child is ready for the extra challenge.
