TibaToes™ Little Melody 7-Piece Wooden Music Set

Tap a short rhythm and pause for their answer. They might copy you, play it faster or invent something entirely different. Making music together gives children a reason to listen, coordinate a movement and wait for their turn.

How it helps

• Practise coordination through tapping and shaking. Tapping and shaking instruments gives children different ways to control a movement and hear its result.
• Explore rhythm by listening and copying beats. Copying a short beat invites listening and remembering a simple sound pattern.
• Learn to take turns in your own family music game. Take turns leading the music. Pausing while someone else plays makes turn-taking part of the activity.
